Together with the leaves the weather slowly turns colder and wetter, inviting us back inside. With an occasional late summer day in between we may find it hard to adjust quickly. But the soft sweet tastes of autumn tell us everything will be alright.

Ripe fruits start off this season, quickly followed by nuts and mushrooms, ending with those veggies like kale that wait for just a first bite of nightly frost to be full of taste. All ready to prepare us for the coming winter.
